Lima 730 – The Ultimate Hard-Top Cruiser
A modern boat with distinctive features and a touch of vintage charm.
The Lima 730 follows the design philosophy of boatbuilder Toni Milenović and stands as a worthy successor to the Nerezine 630 model.
Compared to its predecessor, the vessel has grown in length, height, and beam, reaching the maximum dimensions permitted for unrestricted road transport without requiring special permits.
The Lima 730 features a speedboat hull with a moderate V-shaped bow section that gradually decreases towards the stern. The hull has been designed to achieve efficient planing performance at moderate cruising speeds, while maintaining reasonable fuel consumption and allowing the installation of outboard engines in the 175–250 HP range.

The Lima 730 fully embodies a boat concept that, according to the builder, has not yet been offered on the market in a sufficiently sophisticated and functional form. When every detail is carefully considered, this type of vessel proves exceptionally practical and enjoyable for Adriatic cruising.
Unlike most boats of similar size equipped with enclosed wheelhouses, which often become excessively hot during summer and require their glass surfaces to be covered for protection from the sun, the Lima 730 focuses on maximizing the use of the deck area both underway and at anchor.
The deck is designed as a true open cockpit layout. Both the saloon cockpit area and the aft cockpit are self-draining, eliminating the need for enclosure during navigation.
While open boats are nothing new, their use in colder weather has traditionally required closing the cockpit with canvas enclosures similar to bimini tops. Such solutions have often proven less than ideal during winter months, when cockpit areas and onboard equipment remain exposed to moisture, rain, and gradual deterioration over time.
The introduction of hard-top roofs has addressed some of these issues, but many open boats still lack adequate protection from rain and wind in poor weather conditions.
The Lima 730 features a true hard-top structure designed to provide effective protection from rain, moisture, and summer sun. Integrated into the roof is a solar panel system with an output of up to 520 W, providing sufficient electrical power for the vessel’s typical daily energy requirements.
The cabin sides and windscreen are high enough to provide excellent protection while still maintaining an open, well-ventilated, and comfortable environment during hot summer days.
To ensure the vessel is always prepared for changing weather conditions, the hard-top perimeter incorporates recessed tracks for integrated cockpit enclosures. When rolled up, they remain hidden and unobtrusive, yet are instantly ready to fully or partially enclose the cockpit whenever needed.
This solution allows the cockpit to be used as an additional sleeping area during spring and autumn cruising, increasing total accommodation capacity to four berths when combined with the cabin below deck.
Full-length handrails are integrated along the hard-top for safe movement between bow and stern. These rails can also accommodate roof racks for carrying equipment such as SUP boards, mountain bikes, and similar gear, making the Lima 730 a true SUV of the sea – a genuine Sport Utility Vessel.
